Clustered along the riverbank, cozy houses form a peaceful country hamlet. Women accompany one another to the shore to fetch water while others chat. Working in rich colors, Isshaq Ismail explores the lifestyle in a West African village and the close relationships among its people. "Our neighbors are more or less family. We sometimes need their support when we are in need of help," he says.
