"Forever close to my heart"
This is a very beautiful piece of jewelry! Since finding out that a majority of my DNA comes from Ghana and Nigeria I wanted to support the artist there. I also wanted a piece of a place I’ve never been to in an effort to feel connected to my roots while also remembering the meaning behind the Sankofa. I absolutely love this finely crafted piece of jewelry and i wear it close to my heart.

"I Will Cherish It Always"
I had my DNA tested to see what my ethnicities were. As an African American, it was very important to me , as I only knew that my ancestors were Slaves. Within Africa, my ethnic background is Sierra Leonian, Kenyan, Nigerian, and Central African. I really wanted to celebrate my African Roots and purchased this beautiful Sankofa for mySelf. This truly is a Beautiful piece and I will cherish it always. Sterling silver and African artistry is amazing. Thank you, Sis.Zigah...I hope to return to the MotherLand, soon.

"Beautiful, well made ring!"
I love the detail in this ring. Mrs Zigah is an excellent silversmith. I wish she would make match earrings, necklace and bracelet cuff with this same design.
