A noble neighborhood set on a hill in the center of Rio de Janeiro, Santa Tereza is portrayed with bold line and compassionate shapes. Andre de Miranda reveals his fondness for this urban enclave. "I lived for some years in this neighborhood on the Largo do França," De Miranda reminisces. He portrays it in a beautiful woodcut print.
