Signed Impressionist Market Scene Painting from Ghana, "Village Market"

Painting in an impressionist style, Ghanaian artist James Amoah Atta presents a scene of a local market. He uses a vibrant array of colors to capture the clothing and wares of the different vendors. Says the artist, "This is a village in the eastern region of Ghana called Dodoukrom, where food stuffs can be found in abundance during harvest and can be supplied to other urban areas. This village helps boost cocoa and other cash crops."
