This colorful and fascinating limited-edition giclee on canvas is from Mexico's Madero. The surreal artwork depicts a tecuan or mythological Mexican monster in a dream-like landscape. Sometimes depicted as a jaguar or other wild cat, tecuanes were considered the most fearsome of beasts. The artist references his childhood in Guerrero, where misbehaving children would supposedly be taken away by tecuanes.

"WOW"
I am so glad I bought this painting! So much to see, even face in cloud reflected on water, could be an ironic title. Will follow this artist, thanks!
