Shimmering gold and black beads give Malik Jabir Dodoo's an especially luxurious appearance. The Ghanaian artisan uses local suar wood to hand carve the mask, embellishing its features with recycled glass beads. An iron rod and sturdy sese wood base provide the mask with support.
