Copacabana welcomes the new day as the shy rays of sun dispel the shadows away. Mauro Fichman chooses a fishing boat as his subject, absorbing the first rays of sunlight creeping over the eastern horizon. Skyscrapers appear miniscule in the background, dwarfed by the tranquil bay and white clouds strewn across the sky.
