Original Signed Oil on Canvas Thai Landscape Painting, "At Mae Charim l"

Calling to mind the familiar Mae Charim district of Thailand, artist Phattharaphon Thaphan creates this thoughtful and appealing oil painting. He deftly depicts the scene in late winter, just before spring is about to burst forth. Some of the trees are yet bare, and the brown grasses still lie dormant. But the splashes of light green in the leaves and shrubs hold spring's promise of renewal.
