Golden light caresses a young man like tongues of fire. Scarlet clouds swirl around him as he sounds a horn trumpet in an evocation of the past. Working in acrylics, Seth Alifo depicts his subject in profile, conjuring a sense of mystery with random swirls of smoke. "He is recalling the times of old," the Ghanaian artist says.
