Orange Alebrije Bull with Multicolor Hand Painted Motifs, "Sun Force"
This strong bull alebrije hand carved from copal wood has the fire of the sun hand painted across his back. Orange and brown, the bull is covered with hand painted details in warm colors. This alebrije is handcrafted by artisans Zeny and Reyna of Mexico. The bull's small parts are separated for shipping to protect from breakage.
Each alebrije is unique, as the artist works with the individual shape of each specific copal branch to determine the final design.

"Amazing piece by Zeny and Reyna"
This is another stunning piece by Zeny and Reyna. Outstanding artistry - exquisite details. A wonderful addition to my collection of pieces by Zeny Fuentes and other Oaxacan artists. This piece may eventually be a gift to my brother - but for now, it has a position of honor in my home. I do check frequently to see what new pieces are listed to tempt me.
