One of a Kind Cotton Batik Wall Hanging, "River Mask"
Hoping to one day have her textile art known around the world, artisan Oluwayemisi Adeniran creates this one-of-a-kind cotton wall hanging. She uses the batik method, whereby a design is painted in wax on cotton. The fabric is dyed with one or more colors, and then the wax is removed.
