This is another careful study of the lotus flower by Thai artist Noppadon Kamkong, who examines the sacred Buddhist symbol in three panels, the central one of which features a tiny insect in flight. The crinkled background is achieved by applying adhesive latex to the canvas, and the colorful flowers are created by adding carborundum and gold foil. The panels come stretched on pine wood and the piece is signed by the artist.
