On his head, a tray holds glowing embers while his wrinkled visage attest to the god's great age. Artisans from the Angel Cerón Artisan Association masterfully recreate this important icon from Mexico's pre-Hispanic past.

I was so sad to hear of Mr. Ceron s passing. I am also very sorry for this overdue review for his gorgeous artwork. I have bought several of his pieces, and I genuinely cherish all of them.
