Children from the ancient past play together on a swing in this charming sculpture by artisans from the Angel Cerón Artisan Association. They depict a boy and girl from the ancient Totonac culture of Veracruz. In 1519, the Totonacs received conquistador Hernan Cortes with a friendly reception, and arranged for an audience with Moctezuma II in Tenochtitlan.
The sculpture hangs from a sisal cord.
