Long Handwoven Red & Green Ikat Cotton Duster Jacket, "Kartini Emerald"
By Ully, this long, open duster jacket is woven by hand using the ikat technique, in which the threads are tie-dyed before placing them on the loom. The Javanese artisan names her design Kartini, for a beloved pioneer for women's rights in Indonesia. Cotton lined.
Due to the hand-dyed and handwoven nature of ikat, patterns or position of motifs may vary from garment to garment, making each a unique work of art. The overall color scheme will remain the same.

"Fabulous Jacket!"
I bought this gift for my Mother and she loves it! She gets complements every time she wears it! Dress it up or wear it for casual occasions. Im thinking of getting a jacket by Ully for me soon.

"Fabulous!"
I received the Emerald today and just ordered the grey one, thats how much I love it! I bought the XXL size and its equivalent to a womans size 26. The main body is nicely lined with a black fabric. There are 2 pockets, one in each side seam. I like that it isnt flimsy, nor too heavy, just a good weight. The gift wrap is really cute and I managed to save it without tearing it so I can reuse it. The bird decoration on it is adorable and I will use it as a tree ornament, so it was like an extra gift! My thanks to Ully for such a unique and stylish treasure.
Best Uses
- To dress up simple monochromatic outfit, but would look good over jeans and a T-shirt

"Very attractive/runs small"
I recommend ordering at least a size larger than what you usually wear. Im 55 and 155 pounds. I got a large. It works well enough that I dont want to send it back but I believe Ill gift it to my daughter because its tight in the shoulders for me.
