Indonesian Batik Cotton Placemats in Teal (Set of 6), "Lombok Taste in Teal"

The women of Indonesia's Sasak Lombok Craft proudly present this set of six placemats, crafted by hand from cotton and ate grass fibers woven in the traditional style of Lombok. Intricate batik floral designs in teal dance across the surface of each placemat, achieved by applying a wax resist to the cotton before submerging it in vats of dye.
