In a smoke hue against an eggshell background, geometric patterns decorate this pair of cotton cushion covers from Java. Hari Ratih designs these cushion covers, decorated using the ikat method; individual threads are tie-dyed before being woven together, resulting in the predetermined geometric patterns. Each cover opens at the side with a zipper for inserting a cushion. The artisan names these cushion covers Respati Pandu, which means "strong cotton tree" in Indonesian.
