Working on an artisanal handloom, Peruvian artisan Efrain Curi weaves a set of four placemats that explores his indigenous Quechua roots. Crafted of wool, each rectangular placemat features a solid color in crimson with diamond and chevron motifs. Simple fringe completes each placemat at the ends.

When I saw this tapestry on the Novica website I thought it looked amazing, and wanted to add it to my beautiful collection of Peruvian artwork. It reminded me of our trip to Peru back in 2010 when I bought lots of hand woven pieces. The Eden in the Andes is magnificent and is more beautiful than the picture depicts. Efrain you are very talented, thank you for sharing your creative skills with the world and me.

I met Mr. Curi a number of years ago when I was in Peru and bought a number of his pieces then. When I saw his work was available on Novica, I was thrilled. This piece was every bit as beautiful as the ones I bought a decade ago. I would highly recommend any of his pieces. They are all stunning.

Love this colorful, vibrant tapestry, which gives warmth to a stark white door and gray-painted apartment. Adds much cheer to my space, and has held up well over the years!
