Designed by artisan duo Ingrid and Andrea, this mat from Guatemala will add an artisanal touch to your home. Local artisans combine cotton and wool blend yarns in hues of antique white, taupe, and olive black, weaving them together by hand on the traditional backstrap loom. This mat is perfect for use on a floor or for displaying on a wall.

"This is not a rug"
I have been a loyal Nivica customer for many years and have never been disappointed until this purchase.It is so thin it us more like a large placemat than a rug.It is useless as a rug as ut us so tnin and light it would slide everywhere uf place onvthe floor.I am using it as a small table runner. It is very nice color and weaving is great, but not a rug.
