The Holy Birth takes place under the protection of two large hands in this sculpture by Dionisio Rojas. The figures are rendered in traditional Andean attire, suggesting the spiritual devoutness of the artisan's native land. Shaped from clay, the piece revels in a delicate application of soothing tones. A strong and symbolic work for holiday décor. Maqui is an indigenous Quechua word meaning "hand."

I love this Nativity created by Dionisio Rojas. The painting of each character is beautifully detailed. Instead of Peace Nativity, I call mine, In the Hands of God. The pictures do not capture how truly wonderful it looks.

I am so happy with this beautiful Nativity candle holder from one of my favorite Novica artists, Dionisio Rojas! It arrived in perfect condition, and is even prettier than the picture.
