Crafted by Mexico's Alejandro and Rocio Jimenez, this copal wood figurine comes hand-painted in the traditional alebrije style, all in a palette of turquoise, purple and yellow hues that enhance the vivacious nature of this adorable creature and its little fish, which can be removed from the artwork.

So glad I found this new-to-me Oaxacan artisan on Novica. Thank you Alejandro and Rocio for the adorable treasure. Such amazing painted details! He has joined a carved wood Nativity set from Guatemala. He has many other friends from Oaxaca and Guatemala that were added to the set.
