Hand Painted Ceramic Floral Bull in Black from Peru, "Little Black Pucara Bull"

Representing a fusion between Spanish and Peruvian styles, this ceramic figurine takes the form of a little bull, painted metallic and black by hand with multicolored floral motifs. Maribel Posso Olivares is proud to present her own designs in this figurine, inspired by the myth of the torito de Pucará, which tells the story of a sacrificial bull that brought water to the townspeople by piercing the side of a mountain with its horn.
