Hand Crafted Wall Mask of Aztec Deity Tlaloc, "Tlaloc"

This remarkable wall accent is hand crafted from Oaxacan yellow clay by the Angel Ceron Artisan Association. The small ceramic mask depicts Tlaloc, the Aztec god of rain, fertility and water. Tlaloc is one of the Mesoamerican gods that the Mexica peoples refused to abandon following colonialism and the introduction of Christianity, as his importance to the harvest was critical.
