Traditional in Japanese clothing and martial arts uniforms, the obi belt was developed during the Japan's classical Heian period. This belt includes side slits that keep the leather tight and flat against your waist. The belt is designed to fit a waist between 24 and 32 inches.

“Gorgeous Craftsmanship!”

I could tell the pride that went into making this Obi Belt! The side slits actually does what it was intended to do ... have the belt stay flat against the waist. The leather has been dyed perfectly, stitched evenly, soft and the color is the same as described on the Novica website. No surprises with this purchase, just a well made leather Obi Belt that will give many days of enjoyment. Thank you Shamsher Ali for making this wonderful belt!!!
