Jesus tenderly carries a tiny lamb on his shoulder; the animal nestles close against his body. Alejandro Ramírez depicts Christ as the Good Shepherd, a metaphor taken from the gospel and prefigured in the Psalms. The image is reverently sculpted in exquisite detail, for Ramírez's art is an expression of his own faith. Carved of fragrant cedar wood, the figures are adorned with bronze leaf.
A metal hook at the back facilitates hanging.

"Beautiful Tender Religious Depiction"
This carving conveys such caring and tenderness in it’s portrayal of Jesus carrying a lamb. It’s just beautiful.

"Incredible and beautiful carved Holy Family"
This Cedar relief panel In Gods Hands is absolutely beautiful. The details are incredible and the message it brings to my heart is tender from a loving Heavenly Father who sent His son. It is perfect to display all year on a wall or on a shelf.

"Donated to my local Church"
I purchased this to give to my local church being named after St Michael the archangel. The cedar wood smelled wonderful. The priest was very taken by the carving and had it hung in the sacristy at the entrance to the sanctuary.

"Cherished Family Heirloom"
Absolutely beautiful carved Nativity Scene! This piece of art will certainly remain a treasure and stay in the family forever! This carving is so beautiful that my wife decided it will remain on our wall all year long and not come out for just the Christmas Season! A work of art!!!
