Forbidden City Cardigan, "Forbidden City"

Beijing's Forbidden City, now home to the Palace Museum, was the Chinese imperial palace for almost five hundred years. Its 980 buildings boast some of the world's most intricate and ornate architectural decoration, which was the inspiration for this long-line, multi-season knit topper. A single fastener at the neck recalls the long vests worn by court officials in the Qing Dynasty.
