Floral Painted Glass and Wood Accent Mirror, "Cusco Meadow"

This beautiful wall accent mirror from Peru's Gliseria Soto combines the traditional art form of reverse-painted glass with the gilded ornamentation of the colonial Cusco school. The frame is crafted of wood and glass panes which have been painted on their reverse sides with floral motifs. Applications of lustrous bronze leaf give the frame a rich gleam.
