The Hernandez Lazo Family of Mexico hand weave this beautiful, naturally dyed wool area rug. With a deep red background, its pattern is of two colorful cross within diamond shapes made up of colorful rectangles in the Zapotec style. The rug is finished with fringe.

The fleece is colored with organic dyes derived from plants, nuts, bark and cochineal, so colors can vary and you may see faint shadows on the fringe. These are the natural results of the process and are evidence that you have a unique piece of handcrafted art.
