In Balinese mythology, Barong, also known as Bhoma, represents the goodness that destroyed the evil Rangda. His adventures are reenacted in the form of a folkloric dance and his image is also hung on doors to ward off evil spirits. He is the center of three exquisite items crafted in Indonesia and selected by the NOVICA team for a gift set imbued with mystique and style. The remarkable wall mask is hand-carved in great detail from suar wood, ready to infuse your space with cultural significance. The splendid jewelry box is skillfully handcrafted from jempinis wood and opens to reveal a convenient mirror and four small compartments surrounding a larger one, all lined with faux velvet. The beloved Barong also graces the gorgeous sterling silver pendant in a unity bracelet fashioned with lava stone beads and a handmade macrame cord.
