Cubist-Style Acrylic Painting of Rooster, "The Invincible Rooster"

This original acrylic on canvas painting is based on the fairy tale "The Invincible Rooster" by the great Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan. The fairy tale picture books are very popular in Armenian literature, in which the poetic talent is joined by the painting talent, presenting the inner motives of animal and human life with wonderful humor. Anzhelika Jaghinyan uses blue, red, green colors in her painting and surrounds the rooster with expressionistic forms and shapes. The painting is signed by the artist using her nickname, Karik.
