Colorful Recycled African Wall Mask from Ghana, "Tribe Man"
Crafted by hand from recycled carton, cocoa leaves, and natural gourd, this stunning, eco-friendly African mask is the work of Ghanaian artist Ed Franklin Gavua. The unique mask features an abstract face with curving forms and protruding features finished in a variety of colors. Beads of recycled plastic and glass decorate the gourd and around the mouth. Says the artist, "All we have in life is family. People are very tribal because that's all they have. Let's love, lead, and appreciate each other, irrespective of our tribes."
