Suggesting petals, soft, rounded shapes in primary hues fill this exuberant composition. Julieta Sathler conjures a scene set against a blue sky or beneath the azure sea. "Abstract painting allows me to use strong colors, lines and transparencies that combine harmoniously in a dance that transcends the limits of the canvas," she says.
