Blue and Orange Handwoven Jaspe Cotton Hoodie Pullover, "Blue Maya Paths"

Woven by hand on a traditional loom, cotton in dark blue and orange reveals Guatemala's jaspe art. Jaspe is an ikat technique in which the threads are tie-dyed before placing them on the loom. The fabric becomes a hooded pullover with a drawstring hood and a large patch pocket opens on both sides. With a zipper at the neck and a drawstring at the hem, it is casual and colorful. "This design is stylish and oh, so comfortable," Merida Family artisans say.
