This cool cat alebrije hand carved from copal wood is dressed to the nines with a black body hand painted with intricate designs in purple and silver. This alebrije is handcrafted by artisans Zeny and Reyna of Mexico. The cat's small parts are separated for shipping to protect from breakage.
Each alebrije is unique, as the artist works with the individual shape of each specific copal branch to determine the final design.

"A very Sophisticate Cat indeed!"
Thank you Zeny and Reyna! Another amazing piece - such exquisite details! I love all of the pieces by Zeny and Reyna. I am always looking to see what is new. I bought this to give to a friend of mine. I will say Hello to this cat every time I visit her --- as she has one cat that hides from me....so this cat will take the place of the sophisticated cat who hides. There is magic in every Oaxacan Alebrije! Buy some and discover the magic!
