Bird Family Multicolor Woodcut Print by J. Borges in Brazil, "The Hen and Her Chicks"

Baby chicks cluster around their mother hen, each flaunting bright plumage in different colors. Watching over them attentively, the mother bird dwarfs her eleven diminutive babies as they bask in the shade of a green tree. J. Borges creates a delightful woodcut print in his hallmark naif style as he recalls his childhood in rural Brazil.
