"Banku and Okro"

"We should all learn to live harmoniously," believes Ghanaian artist Eric Nii Addy Jr. He transforms his message into an extraordinary composition depicting friends cooking together in the kitchen. One is preparing banku by mixing corn and cassava dough in a metal pot over a coal fire. Her friend is helping by cutting up okro (gumbo) for the stew.
