I have purchased eight of Armandos pieces - some for gifts, but the majority for myself. They are all just beautiful and give me joy every time I look at them. The colors are so varied and complimentary that they go well with many different decors. I look forward to enjoying their beauty and cheerfulness all year long. I highly recommend his work. Im quite sure you wont be disappointed. (I also recommend purchasing them when you see them as they sell out quite quickly.)
A beautiful pot to add to my decor
I have to say that, from the photo above, I expected the bottom of the pot to be a soft yellow color. It?s actually bright white. I still like the pot and am happy I bought it. It?s very striking and a bit unusual.
A cherished gift
I got this as a gift for my mother-in-law who loves plant pots. She loved how it was beautifully painted and crafted. The artist who made this is so very talented. I hope Eufrosia continues to thrive from creating such beautiful pieces of work and never let her talents go to waste :)

Talavera is a distinctive art form brought to Mexico by artisans from Talavera de la Reina, Spain. The ceramic artisans of Puebla, Mexico then incorporated Chinese designs, thus creating the blue and oyster-white patterns traditionally associated with Talavera Poblana. Today there are also more "contemporary" designs that include yellow, green, orange, mauve, black and red.
National and international conventions require that a rigorous procedure be followed in the elaboration of authentic Talavera-style ceramics. Each individual piece will be slightly different, and therefore a unique work of art.
