About Me

I am 57 years old and have been fascinated by the baskets and masks of Africa for almost 30 years. I have a son who experienced some difficulties in his life and is now on a path to finding himself. Daniel Asante's mask, "Belief in Oneself" was the perfect expression of my belief in my son and his belief in himself. I look forward to a long relationship with Novica and Mr. Asante's artwork. I have just purchased "Successful Leader", an Akan mask for my son. He has just become a Successful Leader in his own right and I want him to be reminded daily. Thank You Eric Danquah.
