A rich history of working in native woods is embodied in the work of artisans like the Gonzales Family.In his youth, Ignacio Gonzales learned his craft at the feet of the village priest and, later in life at the tender age of 23, used this knowledge to support his young, and growing, family. He taught each of his six children elements of the wood worker’s craft and coffee table design. Thanks to the success of his partnership with NOVICA, he now employs over 50 of his friends and neighbors in this growing local enterprise.
