"My name is Parichat Chompoorat and my nickname is Por. I was born in Chiang Mai in 1983. My father has a drinking water business and my mother stays at home to take care of me and my younger brother. We love each other so much in my family.
"In 2005, I graduated from Rajamangala University of Technology with a major in accounting. I worked as an accountant at a factory for a year but I felt like it wasn't the right job for me so I resigned. Today I'm working full time at a language school and making leather bracelets as a hobby, but I really do enjoy it.
"I started making leather bracelets because of my mother. She took a course and I thought it would be nice if I learned from her. So I asked her to teach me and now I craft leather bracelets to sell.
"My designs are inspired by everything around me. When I see a cool pattern, I adapt it to my work. I enjoy this craft. I can design all the patterns I want and it's like I'm presenting my own personality in each bracelet.
"I live my life in accordance with my goals. I first set a goal and then I work toward achieving it. I want to do my best in everything I do and I'm happy with what I have.
"The most impressive thing in my life was when I finally graduated – my bachelor's degree was a present for my parents. I'm so glad that I have my own workshop, even though it's small. I'm sure that if I work hard and I try hard, it could be very successful someday.
"In the future, I would like to have a well-known shop of my own for my leather designs. I think Novica is a good place to present our work to people from all over the world.
"I would like to tell everyone that 'Every new day brings a new opportunity.'"
