"These earrings were inspired by the culture of Minangkabau in West Sumatra where I come from," Tineke Indradjaya says. "Minangkabau has developed rich design motifs as the result of its marvelous and interesting cultures. I made this design as the result of a combination of myself and a shape I like – the pear shape and the heart it supports." She sets sterling silver with bright carnelian for this original design.
