"My vocation as an artisan has been in me from a very young age; when I was a little girl I was already crafting a variety of delicate pieces. I developed other interests as I grew up, which lead me to jewelry design. This activity brought me back to the world of handicrafts.

"Now, I design gemstone necklaces and bracelets and I carve replicas of Christ Redeemer, Rio de Janeiro's most popular landmark, on Corcovado hill.

"I began by selling my work on sidewalk markets and since the 1980s, I've been exhibiting my work at important fairs. I am amazed at the opportunity to promote my work through Novica, on the Internet. This is something I never imagined possible – the whole world can see my products day or night!"
