Colorful geometric motifs inspired by traditional designs decorate the length of this Peruvian table runner, handwoven on an artisanal loom using wool and cotton blend yarns. Designed by Cerapio Vallejo, the table runner is finished with stripes and decorative tassels at each end, bringing with it a festive spirit.

Peruvian artisan Alfredo Falcon designs an elaborate dance of geometric motifs, presented in beautiful sunset rich colors. The relaxed V neck sweater, knitted using a soft alpaca blend will add a harmonious mix of sophistication and Andean cultural richness to your wardrobe.

Artisan Ana Fernandez of Peru designs this men's long-sleeve pullover sweater made from luxuriously soft 100% alpaca wool. In deep autumn colors, the sweater features multi-colored stripes in the background and a unique curved trellis pattern in the foreground.

About her designs, the artisan says, “For me, designing is a fusion of ideas. I blend fashion trends with my own favorite sources of inspiration, which are Victorian textiles and our Peruvian culture. I love designing apparel of alpaca wool and cotton because this really makes a contribution to society. It lets me give jobs to local people, especially women who want to get ahead and move to central Peru seeking a better future.”

The rising and setting of the sun never fails to cause wonder, as it did for the pre-Hispanic artists in Peru. Master weaver Zosimo Laura depicts both in a wool cushion cover of dazzling colors. The reverse side is orange, and red with orange and features a a button opening.
