This stunning cushion cover is created by Mario Chavez in Mexico, who works with wool that has been tinted with natural pigments. The hand loomed cushion cover features a traditional Zapotec design in vermilion, magenta and yellow on a background of sea green. A zipper on one side allows for easy insertion of a cushion.

All-natural dyes obtained from local materials are used for this stunning cushion cover from Mexico's Mario Chavez. The Oaxacan artisan uses pure wool and a traditional loom to create the cover, which features a Zapotec diamond motif in ultramarine and bright red on a background of amber yellow. The all-cotton back features a slit for inserting a cushion.

The Andes Traditions Association works with artisans of the region to create a stunning home accent handloomed from wool yarns. This pouf cover features a traditional Andean pattern in a palette of warm colors, all made from upcycled Andean fabrics. The threads are spun by hand and patiently woven on the backstrap loom. These pieces are never the same, as each pattern is unique and the final design is influenced by the cut that was made to this wonderful fabric. The predominant background cardinal red color will not vary.
