Working with local Balinese artisans, Wayan Asmana presents this bold and masculine signet ring. The ring is crafted of sterling silver, inscribed with the image of a compass at the top. Crescent moons flank the front to light the way.

This beautiful pair of ceramic ornaments is from Jose Arriola in Guatemala. Crescent moons, about to eclipse glowing suns, are painted by hand in marvelous detail. The two ornaments are ready to hang from red ribbons. The backs of the ornaments are painted in a solid color and signed by the artist.

Precise geometric motifs are accentuated with purple in an exquisite design. From talented members of Women United for Artisan Development, the cushion cover is woven by hand on a backstrap loom. Cording defines the borders, and the back is solid grey. "We were inspired by the moon and stars," the artisans confide.

Should one of the threads snag, they suggest you pull it back into place from the back of the fabric with a fine crochet hook.

Radiant spokes made of mirror and mohena wood burst outward like a celestial explosion, transforming any wall into a gallery of Peruvian artistry. This sunburst-themed mirror combines dimensional woodwork with reverse-painted glass panels, where pink flowers beautifully bloom across the surface. Artisan Gliseria Soto treats each wooden accent with bronze gilt and walnut stain, building up layers of color that mimic the patina of a treasured antique. The alternating rhythm of solid wood beams and reflective mirror bars creates dynamic visual texture, while the hand-painted floral motifs at the center anchor the design with delicate, folk-inspired charm.

Bathed in sunshine, this delightful cosmetic bag features lavish hand embroidery done with a punch-needle technique. The fabric is woven by hand of natural cotton with motifs in sky blue, deep rose and goldenrod yellow. A tassel adorns the zipper, the bag is fully lined, and the reverse side is solid blue. It is crafted by members of the Maya Artists Group.

If you find a loose thread or loop in the embroidery, do not pull it or cut it because you risk unraveling the embroidery. If the thread or loop is bothersome, use a needle to push it back into the base fabric.
