The threads are spun by hand and patiently woven on the backstrap loom. The beautiful patterns add a warm touch of color and life to your space.

These pouf covers are never identical, as each pattern is unique and the final design is influenced by the cut that was made to this wonderful fabric. The predominant background cherry red color will not vary.

A zippered opening lets you insert the filling (not included).

Accented with the fringes, the center lines crown the piece with a palette of goldenrod, ginger, green and crimson colors.

Add a touch of style to your living room with this pair of cushion covers from Peru. Artisan W. Rojas Yuri creates this pair, which is woven by hand from a soft alpaca blend. A body of crimson showcases dark and pumpkin-hued stripes and zigags. Each cover features a striped back, which opens with a slit for inserting a cushion.

In wonderfully contrasting white and crimson, achieved with natural dyes, a beautiful pair of mittens is knit of soft baby alpaca wool. By Peruvian artisan Maria Teresa Tejada, they feature with little red pompoms at the wrists; the red is an alpaca blend, necessary to achieve the desired color. Each tip folds back to reveal finger holes. Baby alpaca refers to the fine fleece from the season's first shearing.
