The backdrop is a section of an Andean blanket on which she appliqués a Peruvian landscape of llamas strolling through a field of cactus by a small pond with ducks. The sun peeks out from the mountains in the background. The back of the mitts is solid white. A loop of yarn topped with a pom pom is attached to the top corner of each mitt for easy hanging.
