India's Artisans Alliance Jawaja Weavers Division (AAJWD) brings us a charming home accent that will fill your interiors with a cheerful vibe. This handloomed wool area rug comes with a striped pattern of yellow and red tones, with playful tassels at each end as the sweet final touch.

Gamaniel Esmit combines deep tones of crimson and marigold with warm earth colors in this rug celebrating the Inca heritage of his Andean homeland. He hand-weaves it in a traditional loom using fine 100% alpaca wool and signs it with his initials.Born in the highlands city of Huancayo, Gamaniel comes from a long line of weavers and grew up around surrounded by yarns and looms. Through their work, he and his family continue to keep alive the old traditions and techniques that have been passed down to them for centuries.

Geometric hummingbirds hover on fields of sunny color. Working in the style of the Nazca plains, Cerapio Vallejo creates his own interpretation of the renowned geoglyphs. He weaves the precise lines on a traditional handloom, and finishes the starkly contemporary rug with fringe.

Floral vine motifs in carnation pink stretch across cornsilk stripes in this area rug, with borders of ruby red. Handwoven from wool, the rug is presented by Sonik Sethi, working with local Indian artisans to create a welcoming piece. The rug is finished with petite fringes on the ends.

Ancient icons illuminate bold bands of grey, red and green, conjuring the ancestral design motifs of India. The intricate patterns are tightly woven by hand on a traditional loom. Sonik Sethi finishes the handsome yellow rug with a luxurious fringe.

Arrows streak across fields of glowing yellow as Mario Chávez weaves bold images in fiery colors. Surrounded by red stars, sunbursts inhabit the central field of this radiant design. The rug – named "Arpones" in Spanish – is hand-woven of virgin wool in Mexico's Zapotec tradition.

Because each rug is individually woven, measurements could vary +/- 1 inch (3 cm).
