Diverse hues portray different facets of Armenia's classic artistry. Gayane Arushanyan weaves this set of four wall hangings, made from a blend of wool yarns and cotton threads. The pieces showcase each a traditional cross, decorated with intense colors and fringes.

Artisan Komang Sri of Bali handcrafts this lovely set of four mahogany wood cross ornaments. With two stained red-brown and two stained black, all the crosses are hand painted in gold in a swirling motif. The ornaments come with a silver polyester cord for easy hanging.

In this hand made arpillera wall hanging, artisan Leonor Quispe of Peru creates an Andean interpretation of a Nativity scene. Three peasants on horseback cross a colorful field to visit the baby in the manger. Llamas and sheep help Mary and Joseph attend the baby while an Andean angel looks on and a star shoots through the night sky. An opening in the top of the arpillera allows for insertion of a rod for easy hanging.
