An original design by Saktut Raitawati, this beautiful jacket showcases Java's classic batik motifs. The artisan works in brown on black, with matching trim on both sleeves and on the open front for a slimming effect. The batik patterns are created with the silk screen technique.

Inspired by the legendary elegance of a kimono, Saktut Raitawati designs this original rayon robe. It is adorned with lush rose patterns that are expertly printed with traditional batik techniques. The black robe ties with a wide belt that repeats the floral composition. The robe can alternately be worn as a long layering jacket with Asian chic.

Inspired by textiles from Thailand's Lisu Hill Tribes, Chattima fuses cultures in this elegant navy jacket. Made from a cotton and hemp blend the open jacket highlights Lisu Strips on the cuffs and front opening. This traditional textile is made by overlapping and folding thin strips of brightly colored fabric producing an applique patchwork that is applied to clothing. Chattima sympathetically combines this with hand stamped indigo fabric inserts on the cuff from the Hmong tribe and hand made silk rozettes on the placket. A single hand tied robe button finishes the neckline.

Inspired by the beauty of the jungle and its unique nightscapes, Galuh Kenanga designs a charming kimono jacket intended to be an elegant complement to a relaxing day. Balinese artisans use the traditional batik technique to create an intricate pattern in teal, turquoise and purple hues all over this rayon design. With a matching belt and three-quarter-length sleeves, the final touch is a handy pair of pockets.

Shimmering shades of blue and cream cover this elegant scarf. Yuni Kristina recreates the parang raja. One of many traditional batik motifs, it symbolizes the ancient Javanese kingdom in general. She stamps the blue patterns in pure silk and adds the red blossoms with the batik motif.
